Wasim Akram, former Pakistan skipper and world’s top fast bowler has turned 54 today but won’t count quarantine birthday!

But unfortunately, this year he had to celebrate the birthday being in quarantine amid COVID-19 pandemic.

“Thank you everyone for all my birthday messages”, said Wasim Akram in his social media post.

“I’ve spent almost a quarter of this year in quarantine so I really don’t think it’s fair to count this birthday, so I have decided to remain 53 for one more year. It’s only fair”, he further added.

Former cricketer received a handful of birthday wishes on social media, but among them on top were the wishes from Mrs. Wasim Akram.

“If life was a sugar-free chocolate cake, this would be ours. Happy Birthday, @wasimakramliveofficial. I loved you before quarantine, during quarantine, and will love you long after quarantine. I know 2020 hasn’t been a great year but knowing you are the fittest, healthiest and happiest version of yourself I know that there are plenty of great years to come”, she wrote sharing a photo of the birthday cake. 

While wishing happy birthday on twitter, Shaniera wrote, “Happy Birthday @wasimakramlive .I’ve cleared my schedule for the unforeseeable future. I won’t be meeting anyone, going to salons, seeing friends, or leaving the house unnecessarily. I’m literally going stop all social activities just to spend quality time with you #QuarantineBday”.
