More women come forward to accuse Ali Zafar of sexual harassment after Meesha Shafi!
It seems Meesha Shafi has provided a voice to many women in Pakistan who couldn’t talk earlier openly about the ordeal they have gone through. Pandora box has started to open after the harassment allegations made by Meesha Shafi on Ali Zafar, more women came forward to accuse Ali of sexual harassment. It was yesterday when Meesha took to social media for making her allegations.
Meesha Shafi Opens Up On Being Sexually Harassed By Ali Zafar!
The first one to came forward was Makeup artist and painter Leena Ghani, who came thanking Meesha Shafi for her bravery, thanking her and shared her #MeToo story over twitter, saying ” [Ali Zafar’s] behaviour shows a clear lack of respect for women. Inappropriate contact, groping, sexual comments should not fall in the grey area between humour and indecency. Comments that would make your skin crawl and make you feel objectified are not to be reduced to ‘a joke'[…] in most cases, women like myself run from a situation and hope to God you never cross paths again. And when by some misfortune, you do, you hide from him. Hoping that his sleazy eyes and hands don’t find you again. His hands don’t run up and down your waist or hold you too tight while you desperately try to wiggle and run […] The memories of the times when Ali thought he could get away by saying vulgar things still disgust me”.

It only been a day since Meesha Shafi’s news broke over. But still it’s too early to conclude anything. The actor and singer Ali Zafar himself has denied all such accusations, quoting to take the case to the court of law to decide.
