Fairness creams are quite a controversial yet a commercially popular product of our country. While there are people breaking away from stereotypes of kaala gora, the brands continue to mint money from their complex creating products. As a result, celebrities too cash in on the endorsements of such products which are often quite big-budgeted.
However, actress Iqra Aziz recently turned down a fairness cream endorsement and fiance Yasir Hussain not only applauded her for the decision but also shared it with the world.
Taking it to Instagram, the 35-year old actor wrote, “I love you even more for what you did yesterday. Yeh baat aap sab ko batana is liye zaroori hai kyon k yeh aik behtareen kaam hai.”
“Kal iqra ne aik (whitening cream) ka advertisement karny se mana kar dia jo society mai complex phelany k Bohot sary paisy bhi offer kar rahy thy . Juratmandana aur sahi Qadam uthaya Aap ne,” he added further.
“Allah ne jesa banaya hai us main khush rahen,” he rightfully spoke.
Now while Iqra did step up the game for fellow celebrities to use their status for breaking stereotypes, Yasir too just gave fiance goals to the guys out there!
