Yasmeen Lari, Pakistan’s first female architect, admitted to ICU battling with COVID-19

Yasmeen Lari renowned Pakistani architect has been admitted to an intensive care hospital in critical condition battling with COVID-19.
It was reported earlier that her husband Suhail Lahri, a renowned historian and author, passed away due to COVID-19.

The death of Suhail Lari in Covid is terrible. Also his wife, Architect Yasmeen Lari, is in hospital with Covid and has Oxygen attached. I hope she gets well.

Pakistani actor Imran Abbas also shared about Yasmeen Lari’s health as she was admitted to ICU.
Taking to his Instagram account, Imran Abbas wrote, “Prayers needed. Pakistan’s first female architect and a woman known for helping out tons of people with a livelihood, the legendary Yasmeen Lari is in ICU. Today, her husband has also died due to coronavirus contraction”.
“My sincerest thoughts go out to her and their family for the loss and I pray that her husband rests in peace. May Allah (SWT) grant her husband with elevated ranks in Jannah and also bestow her with a speedy recovery. Ameen,” he continued
“The first woman to study and get a degree in architecture. Yasmeen Lari,” he added.
