Zaheen Tahira’s grandson shuns rumours of her death

Veteran actress Zaheen Tahira is alive and has been shifted to Coronary Care Unit (CCU), the grandson of veteran actress has refuted the rumours of her passing away on late Thursday evening.

According to the reports emerge on media, Zaheen Tahira’s grandson Daniyal Shahzad Khan has confirmed that the veteran actress is under treatment at Agha Khan Hospital in Karachi.

Daniyal also told media that his grandmother hopefully would be taken off the ventilator as she is recovering well. Though he showed his anger over the rumours saying it’s extremely irresponsible and wrong to spread such fake news on social media platforms.

The hospital spokesperson also told that the condition of actress has improved and she has started to recover but was still on the ventilator.

Earlier, the actress was admitted in the hospital in critical condition on Sunday. Amidst her severely ill health, rumours started to circulate on social media about her passing away.

Zaheen Tahira is famous for her role in PTV’s drama Khuda Ki Basti, Manzil, Muraad, Dil Diya Dehleez,Zeenat, Adam Hawwa aur Shetaan and several other dramas. The actress worked in more than 700 TV dramas. Tahira ventured into the entertainment industry in mid 60s and is one of the finest actresses of Pakistani industry.

She was honoured with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2013 by then-president Asif Ali Zardari for her distinctive work in the Pakistani TV industry.
