14 FBR employees in Quetta contract coronavirus

At least 14 employees of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) have tested positive for the novel coronavirus, reports emerged on Tuesday.

According to details, the 14 new cases who have tested positive, were working at FBR’s regional tax office in Quetta. The regional office has reportedly been shut after the cases confirmed. Authorities said that it will be sprayed with a disinfectant.

FBR has decided to conduct tests at the Karachi large tax unit office. Meanwhile, no one will be allowed to attend the office till the reports are out.

On Tuesday, Pakistan reported a total of 20 fatalities from the novel coronavirus climbing the country’s death toll to 301.

The total number of cases in the country rose by 751 to 14,079 with 10,545 active cases. According to reports, the number of deaths across the country is increasing on daily basis.
