22 Policemen Quarantined in Haripur Due to Contact with Pilgrims from Iran

As many as 22 policemen, including a DSP, have been quarantined in Haripur as a precautionary measure by health authorities. The policemen also including SHO and ASIs escorted the pilgrims from Iran on the Hazara Motorway.

As being reported, the policemen were quarantined for remaining in direct contact with the pilgrims going to Abbottabad and Mansehra districts while returning from Iran.

Albeit that none of the policemen showed any symptoms of COVID-19, the move to quarantine them in Government Girls Degree College, Tarnava came as a precautionary step. After the due screening on Wednesday (today), the policemen will be allowed to step out.
