The number of coronavirus cases is expected to rise sharply in the Parliament House of Pakistan, reports emerged on Wednesday.
According to a local news outlet, the authorities in the parliament have sent a letter to the Senate Secretariat informing that COVID-19 cases have skyrocketed, raising the concerns that if the pandemic is not curbed immediately, it will have devastating consequences in the future.

The authorities’ letter also mentioned the number of infected cases of COVID-19 in the parliament house calling for an attention to the frequently rising rate.
Reportedly, 382 tests were conducted so far by National Institute of Health (NIH) in the house, of which 67 members have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Of the tests conducted 17%.per cent results were positive, which is an alarming figure according to the authorities.
