Four Prime Minister House’s staff members have tested positive for the COVID-19 infection after routine tests of the employees were carried out on Saturday.
All four members have been put in quarantine who have tested positive for the highly contagious disease, sources said. All other preventive measures have been started and SOPs are being followed.

According to Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Political Communication Shahbaz Gill, staff at PM House and other key offices are regularly checked for the virus. He confirmed that the COVID-19 test results of some officials have come back positive.
The SAPM said those who have tested positive were not in direct contact with anyone during recent days.
Earlier a week ago, five employees at the CM House Sindh including Murad Ali Shah’s secretary tested positive for the coronavirus.
The CM House staff members had undergone screening after CM Shah’s special assistant Rashid Rabbani contracted the infection.
