#HumainTumsePyarHai Pakistanis pays homage to doctors, paramedics for treating coronavirus’ patients

Pakistan saluted to the doctors, paramedics and nurses in fight against Coronavirus on Friday as people from all over the country have come out to their balconies, rooftops, parks and other public places waving white flags to pay homage to the real heroes of the country and show solidarity with them.

People hoisted white flags in their homes to pay tribute to the medics for treating coronavirus’ patients at public hospital and making huge efforts to save the country from this deadly virus which has claimed over 26,000 lives across the globe.

The doctors in Pakistan are working tirelessly all over day and night to combat against the spread of pandemic— the pathogen that has so far killed nine people in Pakistan and infected almost 1,300.

All over the world, doctors and other paramedic staff have been at the forefront of the fight against the virus, which has, as of reporting time, infected over 577,621people and left 26,447 others dead in 199 countries and territories since an outbreak in Wuhan, China, back in December 2019.

Famous Pakistani singer, Jawad Ahmad took to social media saying that, “Today, on Friday at 6 pm, we will raise white flags at our homes to pay our tribute to all our doctors, paramedics, nurses, ambulance drivers & other health workers, our brave soldiers fighting against Corona. ‘You are saviours of the nation We love you’”.

Former cricketer, Wasim Akram, also raised a white flag from his rooftop to pay tribute to the medical staff.

He took to Instagram and posted a picture of  the white flag with a caption, “Big salute to all the heroic Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics and medical at the front line fighting for us #HumainTumSePyarHai #CoronaVirusPakistan #WhiteFlagInHonour #WeSaluteYou”.
