Spin bowler Kashif Bhatti has been quarantined in England after testing positive for COVID-19.
The 33-year-old has become the first member of the national team to test positive for Covid-19 following tests conducted by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Bhatti, one of the squad members for Pakistan’s upcoming Test and T20I series against England, has been sent into isolation following the outcome.

He was part of the quartet that had tested positive for the virus in the first round of COVID-19 tests conducted in Pakistan.
But Bhatti had later cleared two consecutive tests and was afterward sent to England on July 8 along with Haider Ali, Imran Khan Sr. and masseur Malang Ali.
As per the English Cricket Board protocol, the group was to be tested upon their arrival before they could join the squad.
