Saudi’s King Salman orders COVID-19 treatment for all, including visa violators

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman bin Abdulaziz has ordered the treatment of highy contagious virus to be available for everyone in need of cure, including people who have overstayed their visa in the Kingdom, Health Minister Tawfig al-Rabiah stated on Monday.

Al-Rabiah asked all of those showing symptoms of coronavirus to seek medical care going in hospital, whether private or public hospital, to get tested and receive the proper care under King s new order.

The new order of King Salman includes visa violators who should not legally be in the country.

Saudi Health Minister highlighted the need to follow all precautionary measures to avoid contracting the virus.

Saudi Arabia confirmed four new COVID-19 deaths, bringing the total to eight on Sunday, amid 1,299 confirmed cases with 96 new ones, health ministry spokesperson said.

The Kingdom tightened its restrictions on movement aimed at halting the proliferation of COVID-19 in the Kingdom on Sunday.

Saudi residents are banned from entering or exiting the Jeddah governorate as of Sunday in a struggle to stop the spread of the deadly coronavirus, according to a statement from the Ministry of Interior.
