UAE tells citizens to offer Eid Al Adha prayers at home
The United Arab Emirates has told its citizens to hold prayers for Eid al-Adha at homes instead of mosques while calls to prayers will be broadcasted, a spokesman for the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) said on Wednesday.
Saif Al-Dhaheri in a virtual news conference further added that the mosques in the UAE will be allowed to operate at an increased capacity of 50 percent after the Eid break, from August 3. Mosques have been operating at 30 percent since they reopened on July 1.
