7th Sky Entertainment’s drama serial ‘Fitoor’ has the audience hooked as the story line escalates

7th Sky Entertainment has served us with another chartbuster drama, Fitoor, a story that struck out to every Pakistani household. With a number of blockbuster serials already to their credit, Fitoor has created a lot of noise amongst the audience. Penned down by Zanjabeel Asim, directed by the genius director Siraj Ul Haq and produced by the dynamic duo of Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, the heartwarming narrative had the audience glued to their screens. Along with a strong storyline, the drama features a stellar cast of Faysal Qureshi, Wahaj Ali, and Hiba Bukhari, who helped portray such interesting and complex characters.

It is a story about a rich man named Haider who marries a girl Dilnasheen who has only accepted the marriage to save her family’s honor. However, Dilnasheen is actually in love with her best friend’s brother, Hamza whose family disagrees with Dilnasheen because of social class differences. In the parallel, Haider was previously betrayed by his cousin Mehmal who leaves him to marry into a wealthy family but soon realizes her new husband to be is a womanizer and disloyal. In the rest of the serial, we see Hamza and Mehmal, who are persistent in coming between the new couple and separating them. It shows us how our pasts are connected to the future, resulting in revenge, rebellion, heartbreak, confessions, and ultimately compromise.

The second last episode of the serial was certainly an intense episode that had us all at the edge of our seats, anticipating what will happen next. It starts with Haider’s mother in the hospital, discussing Dilnasheen and taking a fresh start once all of the chaos is over.

On the other hand, we see Hamza getting married to someone else because Dilnasheen has chosen to end things with him for good.

Dilnasheen accepts and comes to par with her mistake; she goes back to her husband to ask for forgiveness, but Haider is rightfully reluctant; he blames her for jeopardizing a happy household and ending their baby’s life.

Finally, after several attempts at regaining her lost love, she is blown off with a threat, and towards the end, we see Haider contemplating and reminiscing the painful past.

Wahaj Ali, Faysal Qureshi, and Hiba Bukhari have essayed their roles down to perfection as Hamza, Haider, and Dilnasheen, respectively. Once again, Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi have won over the hearts of the audience with a hit that curtails a heart-wrenching saga of love and destiny.

The drama serial gives its name the rightful status; it shows the madness that comes with love that has the people hooked to their TV screens wanting more. The cast has set new benchmarks of excellence with their performances to the fantastic storyline giving it a new life. The overwhelming feedback by the audience and the exponentially raising TRP’s has left us anticipating what will happen next. We are anxiously waiting and looking forward to the last episode of Fitoor!
