Bandhay Ek Dour Se Ep-9 Review: Omar is trying hard to accept Maheen as his wife

Bandhay Ek Dour Se the drama serial airing at Geo Entertainment is one of the refreshing drama serials with a quite a cliche storyline but it is the treatment of the story and the super brilliant performances which are making it our favorite Prime Time Watch. Lead cast as well as supporting cast both have come with impressive performances but particularly in this episode, Ahsan Khan’s has given a brilliant performance, outshining others.

The episode begins when Omar enters into his room and by having a look on Maheen as a bride his old cousin cum friend self returns and he starts bugging her with his jokes but then he tells her to change the bridal sheet as it is disturbing him and asks her to change her dress as well. Maheen has realized that she has no place in Omar’s heart but the way Omar is trying to balance his emotions, his guilt, and also his responsibility to carry this relation is so brilliantly done by Ahsan Khan.

Roshini has lost her mind on knowing that Maheen is married to Omar, she once again hides her feelings from her mother but she has messed up all her room. She is so mean that she is blaming Maheen that she has ditched her by marrying her lover not realizing that she is the one who herself has broken the relationship with Omar as greed has blinded her then and when Nabeel has shown her the mirror she wants Omar back when she herself has clearly told Maheen that she can tell Omar to forget her now how can she blame her?

Omar is such a gem that he cannot show his true feelings in front of his family and the way he tries to make his chachi happy say volumes about his good nature, he certainly does not deserve a mean girl like Roshini. He deserves Maheen who is just like him, his true friend, she is kind, innocent and a pure heart. Family’s taunts are one of the best parts of this play, witty punchlines by Dadi (Samina Ahmed) and Omar’s mother (Saba Faisal) are what makes this play an interesting Watch.

Omar shares his feelings in front of Maheen telling her that how hard it is to forget Roshini, he says that he is trying to forget her but he is helpless and also shares the burden of his guilt with her but on this, the poor and innocent Maheen who knows that Roshini has rejected Omar suggests him that he should once talk with Roshini and express his feelings to her so that he will get free of all the guilt, not knowing that poor girl is inviting trouble to herself as Roshini is so mean that she will not shy away to step over her and win Omar.
