Bandish 2 Episode-5 Review: Farhana finally agrees to visit graveyard at midnight!

Farhana succumbed to her jealousy and agrees to do whatever the Peer will ask her to do

Bandish-2 the drama serial airing at ARY Digital is one of our favorite weekend watch. Performances are all good but it feels like Affan Waheed’s is kinda wasted in this serial. As mentioned before Bandish 2 is more like a family drama but we also get spooky vibes in this episode. In the previous episode, we were wondering whether whatever happening at Sameer’s house was magic or some other power.

Well, we find the answer to our question in this episode it is surely the black magic that is creating problems at Sameer’s house. Waniya and Minahil have realized that there is something paranormal about this house but Sameer’s annoyed reaction to that does not make any sense. Sameer calling her sister a liar is again making Sameer’s character weak. I must say that it is quite a poorly written-character.

Rabail’s boss seems getting attracted by her and it is also shown that she might be taking interest in him. Rabail’s fiance sees her sitting with her boss in a restaurant and when he tries to talk with her, Rabail just shuns him and on top of that her boss helps her by shooing him off. Our heart goes out to the poor boy he at least deserves to explain his side to Rabail.

Sameer is suggesting to his mother a potential proposal for Rabail by an old friend’s family and for that, they agreed to call the guests on Sunday. Well, Humaira makes another blunder by calling Farhana again. Humaira conducts Quran Khuwani at the house and there I feel they must not have shown supernatural presence to Waniya soon after she finished reciting the Holy Book. The recitation of the Holy Book always protects one from such forces. Sameer gets a big contract and they are celebrating it in front of Farhana.

Farhana loses her control and she succumbed to her jealousy. She visits the necromancer and she tells him that she is ready to follow whatever he will ask him to do. Well, the necromancer is giving sinister vibes he is going to use Farhana for his devilish plans. Anyways Farhana agrees to visit the graveyard at midnight and in return she begs him not to stop his spell as she badly wants Sameer’s family to suffer. The graveyard scene is well-shot. It seems that Farhana is getting stronger and so are the magical forces. It is already established that little Hooriya is possessed by these magic black forces as we have seen her speaking an alien language while sleeping and also she intends to harm her cousin. Too intriguing!
