Dil Kya Karay – Episode 1 Review
After the viral pictures of Feroz Khan and Yumna Zaidi on social media, the fans were eager to see these beautiful and talented actors together. The viewers were longing to watch the chemistry between this new onscreen couple.

7th Sky Entertainment’s new project DIL KIYA KARAY aired on Geo Entertainment on 14th January. Written by Asma Nabeel, writer of Feroz Khan’s hit Drama Khani and directed by Mehreen Jabbar, the first episode gave us the preamble of the characters and the bonds they share. The story revolves around a family with the intervening relation.
Shamim Hilaly playing Bibi in the drama is an open-minded and forbearing woman. Tanveer Jamal, the eldest son of the house is married to Rumaisa played by Marina Khan who is fanatic, taunting and jealous woman with Armaan played by Feroz Khan and Faryal as their children. Rabia, the second daughter in law with all the forgiving and giving nature is a widow of Umar and is childless. Usman is the youngest son married to Suman Ansari, lives abroad and has Aimen played by Yumna Zaidi as daughter.
Umar died in a car accident, the driver of the car at the time of accident was Usman after which he, with his family settled abroad. Even after so many years he is not able to overcome the guilt due to which he visits Pakistan rarely. Faryal is getting married soon because of which whole family is reuniting at the event.
The first episode gave us the sense of love triangle in the drama as Armaan is deeply in one-sided love with Aimen while his mother is not at all fond of her. Concurrently Aimen’s parents are devoted towards Arman while Aimen seems to be interested in someone else.
The catch of the episode was melodious song in the voice of Yumna Zaidi which is highly appreciated by the viewers. Performances of all the actors were very much on point. Feroz Khan, the Romeo of industry is spot on with his acting while Yumna Zaidi explicitly defines a desi living in foreign but Marina Khan remained in spot light with her extraordinary performance in the negative role.
