Ek Jhoota Lafz Mohabbat Ep-6 Review: Aleeza’s suffering seems to be never ending

Express Tv’s Ek Jhoota Lafz Mohabbat is a typical sort of play but it has its intriguing value one wonders where Aleeza and Areesha’s lives will lead to? In the previous episode, we have seen that Maaz is taking a stand for Aleeza in front of his mother and sister. In this episode, we have seen that Maaz is facing problems at his workplace he has given his last warning.

The episode begins when Aleeza and Maaz rush into the hospital to take Aleeza’s father for treatment. He gets a cardiac arrest. In such a stressful condition, Aleeza’s mother suggests they call Areesha to which Aleeza’s father says that he will not listen to her name again and she will never going to see him alive.

Areesha on the other hand has a very problematic attitude, she is extremely possessive towards her husband. She starts doubting her husband and she straight away goes to his office and starts blaming him for flirting with his colleague. To be honest this play seems quite tedious and cliched and on top of that Areesha’s husband’s character is not making any sense at all. He should have snubbed her harder. Well, they are expecting a guest at their place, his husband’s friend, and I am having a feeling that Areesha will fall in love with that friend of her husband.

Poor Aleeza’s sufferings seem never-ending. Maaz is not ready to give her wife status and on the other hand, her own Phupho is so badly treating her. Maaz fails to take a stand for his wife at times. Maaz is extremely disturbed and he is having concentration issues at his workplace. Moreover, Maaz’s boss points out a blunder he committed and he gives him a final warning. Maaz shares his warning with Aleeza which his mother eavesdrops and she starts blaming Aleeza for bringing ill luck to his son.

It seems so weird that even Aleeza blaming herself for being an ill omen for Maaz. Her conversation with her mother is so tedious, why she is relying on Maaz and her family? She is fearing that if Maaz will leave her too she will get divorced for the second time. How will society accept her? Maaz listens to all this conversation hopefully he will try to make her life better. The ending scene is when Saad comes and meets Aleeza, he is such a dumb person that he clearly sees her with a family still he dares to initiate a conversation with her. Phupho will surely scandalize it.
