Hassan’s episode 6 and 7 just aired on Monday, and we are dumbstruck. Right through the 78 minutes of double episodes, the drama kept us glued to our screens.
Life has become harder for Nain Tara (Minal Khan) who is constantly at the receiving end of Zareen’s (Areej Fatima) schemes. This time, Zari finally managed to manipulate Armaan’s mother (Saba Faisal) and Tara has lost the only shelter she held after her husband’s and parent’s demise.
While Zari has to go along with her fake pregnancy and Farhan (Noor up Hasan) is gritting his teeth on the injustice being carried out against Tara, it is downright ridiculous to see the actions of Zari’s mother – whom we expected to knock some sense in her evil daughter.

From plotting to kill her to getting Tara exploited by her brother, Zari did too much in this week. It was evident that Zari was not only jealous of Armaan (Shahroz Sabzwari) and Tara’s perfect life but also feels envious of Tara’s mere existence.
Only time will tell what will Zari’s hassad have in store for Tara and her own fate – which we expect to be doomed at some point.
A directorial of Aabis Raza, Hassad was exceptional this week as each actor powerfully conveyed their character. Two thumbs up for Areej Fatima and Saba Faisal who in their own different ways impressed us throughout.

Areej has successfully managed to make us hate her as antagonist Zari, and Saba convincingly plays the grieving mother who is now at the verge of losing her composure. A remarkable performance from the two ladies.
This week’s episode ended on a high note as Tara tried to prove her innocence. And just when we took a sigh of relief from her effort, the teaser of next week took our breath away. It’s definitely going to be difficult to wait for another week to further find out what Hassad does to Tara and Zari.
