Hum Kahan Kay Sachay Thay Ep-14 Review: Mehreen’s suffering seems never ending

Hum Kahan Kay Sachay Thay the drama serial running at Hum TV has taken toxicity to a whole new level. The performances in the play are exceptionally good, particularly Mahira Khan, who has been simply brilliant. In the previous episode, Mehreen and Aswaad get nikkahfied and Aswaad leaves for America the very next day. In this episode, Tahir sends Police to Suleha’s house to arrest Mehreen once again.

The episode begins when Rabia visits Suleha Appa and there she comes to know that Aswaad has left for America right after the next day of her wedding? Well surprisingly Mehreen is being very nice and jolly with her mother, she is trying to cover up Aswaad and her khala by saying that Aswaad has a very important meeting.

Tahir and Shugufta come to know about Aswaad and Mehreen’s nikkah. They make a lot of hues and cry in front of Tahir’s mother and they are blaming her for taking their sides when in reality she has taken their side all the time. One feels sorry for the poor old lady, she is so helpless she cannot even meet her daughters and for the very first time, she has started missing Mehreen. She wants to meet Suleha.

Tahir sends Police to Suleha’s house to arrest Mehreen once again with that super annoying Suna Nahi Suna Police Inspector. That inspector is extremely annoying and the weird thing is that the police who raided the house consist of male staff only how can Male police arrests a female? To our surprise, Mehreen manages to hide in the laundry and Suleha lies that she is at her mother’s place. Police raids at Rabia’s place as well but could not find her. Rabia is extremely worried as her husband and in-laws are giving her a hard time on this police raid issue.

Well, one wonders why Rabia is not owning her daughter in front of her husband? Police Inspector for the very first time confronts Tahir by saying that the Sleeping Pills Mashal had in her tea were not brought by Mehreen, Mashal is habitual of taking sleeping pills and they have found ample amount of sleeping pills boxes from her room. Why he has not told all this to Aswaad? Mehreen is getting hallucinations she sees Mashal, she hears Aswaad calling Mashal, I think it was quite a misuse of creative license, or does it represents Mehreen’s deteriorating mental state? Her suffering seems never-ending.
