Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum Episode- 2 and 3 Review: What was feared, has happened

Materialistic Adeel refuses to marry Sharjeena

Kabhi Main Kabhi’s this week’s episodes move on revealing what was feared, has happened!

Episode 2 opens up showing the change in Adeel’s attitude, who scolds Sharjeena as he is looking for an excuse to break his engagement.

Sharjeena, who is a headstrong girl, has already sensed that there is something wrong as Adeel refused to apologise to her for his behaviour.

Both families are busy finalizing the wedding preparations when Shareeja decides to meet Adeel and asks the reason for his rude behaviour when they visit Adeel’s home.

Adeel had left his future-in-laws sitting in the drawing room to meet his boss who is not responding to his calls.

During the meeting Adeel shamelessly beaks the engagement, bluntly telling Sharjeena that she was his parents’ choice and he loves someone else. And Sharjeena leaves the cafeteria, Mustafa sees her and his brother leaving her abruptly on the roadside.

Mustafa is shocked to find out what has happened and he offers to Sharjeena’s friend in a time of need. Mustafa is unaware that what he said will entrap him in a relationship which he will regret in future.

Sharjeena gets home thinking about how to break the news to her family as they prepare for the mayun function of Sharjeena and her sister.

Episode 3 is an emotional roller coaster where both families get to know what Adeel has done. Materialistic Adeel refuses to marry Sharjeena just a week before their wedding.

Adeel’s father feels humiliated to face Sharjeena’s family and kicks him out of the house.

Mustafa is shown in a positive light worried about Sharjeena and still his father does not let go of a chance to humiliate him.

Mustafa visits Sharjeena’s house the other day after Adeel’s refusal and its Sharjeena who proposes to him. It’s more like an emotional blackmail. Sharjeena has sought a solution to save the face of her family from humiliation.

Well, it’s 2024, and the writer still glorifies finding fault in a girl’s character if her wedding is broken off. Episode 3 is a bit dragged where everyone is gloomy and worried about what will happen to Sarjeena after Adeel breaks off the wedding.

It must have been Adeel’s fault to have been highlighted and Sharjeena’s family should have openly announced how they were saved from the disaster of an unwanted marriage.
