Kuch Ankahi Episode-14 Review: All knitted so well!

Aliya joins Asfar's office!

ARY Digital’s drama serial Kuch Ankahi is down with 14th episodes. And we are loving this light heart drama serial which makes us nostalgic by giving Haseena Moin’s plays vibes. The performances are all spectacular! The previous episode has been a wholesome one, with so many beautiful moments. This episode in particular is a bit different as we see less of Aliya and Salman’s romantic banters. Salman is mad at Aliya for joining Asfar’s office.

In this episode we see that Deepak finally gets admission to a reputable school, the amount of love he receives from the whole family is so heartwarming. The play is subtly conveying the message of inclusiveness in our society through this Deepak track of how whole heartily the family has embraced a kid belonging to a minority community. The way Phupho schools Deepak’s father is exactly what that vile person deserves.

Samia’s mother-in-law now openly and shamelessly demands to live in Agha’s house. Thank God Samia is not that spineless she tells her mother-in-law that fulfilling her demand is not possible. Well, why she is still bearing her despite watching all the red flags? How dumb of her to waste her life for a good-for-nothing husband and a greedy mother-in-law just for the sake of making her mother happy.

Aliya and Salman’s scenes are what we all wait for in this serial. But sadly in this episode, we see less of Salman and Aliya’s romantic banters as their relationship takes a turn with Aliya actually joining Asfar’s office! Why Aliya has done that? Is she really done that for spying for Shehrish? or she has done that to support her father in an even better way? Well Aliya has made Salman mad and he is now not on talking terms with Aliya, it seems like Salman’s coldness is hurting Aliya.

Asfar will not be a kind boss this is for sure and Aliya also does not seem comfortable working there. Will Aliya quit this job? Well, we have a feeling that Asfar might start taking interest in Aliya and this is exactly what Salman is fearing too. He is insecure that Asfar might win her heart and he is posing that he is mad at her for compromising her rules. Thanvi and Phupho’s rift is intriguing we want to know exactly what happened between them. Poor Shakeel’s hilarious dream sequence and his fancying Tania to use her as a ladder to get his share in the house seem cute and funny although he is getting timely reality checks from Tania. All knitted so well the play is big time winner!
