Kuch Ankahi Episode-19 Review: Thanvi steals this episode

Salman is already being treated as a family member in Agha Jaan's house

ARY Digital drama serial Kuch Ankahi is a big-time winner making us nostalgic about the good old PTV plays. Muhammad Ahmed has indeed penned a fantastic yet heart-touching story full of nuances and positive messaging. He should write more. In the previous episode, we were in awe to see the intense trio of Salman, Aliya, and Asfar. In this episode, it is Thanvi who steals the show with his perfect romance and comic timing.

Well out of nowhere Thanvi is coming home to propose to Sofia Phopho we are too excited to see them together but Sofia Phupho creating a lot of fuss. Why she is so averse to marrying Thanvi? or it’s just that she does not want to marry at all? I guess she does not want to marry but then Agha Jaan and the whole household forcing her to get married is making no sense how can they force her to marry against her wishes?

Thanvi looks like the super cute part of him is daring enough to propose to the love of his life but it is he who gets hell frightened when he even hears Sofia’s voice. Thanvi’s romance and comic timings are perfect and we are already rooting for him. Salman trying to convince Sofia Phupho looks cute and the way Sofia Phupho gives weightage to whatever he is saying shows that he has already been accepted as a family member.

Asfar’s dynamics are equally interesting Aliya seems good with both of them but no we are rooting for Salman. Salman and Aliya attend a meeting on behalf of Asfar and Sherish. Salman does not fully agrees with her but he has bargained his offer on which Sehrish shows satisfaction but Asfar is not happy. Asfar takes off on her mother’s anniversary we get to see a soft and vulnerable side of him, he is a grey character.

It is so good to see Samia not being spineless, she is joining work without her mother-in-law’s consent and she also answering back with her. Thank God we have not seen Shagufta in this episode. Now Saif also needs to grow a spine and should take a stand for himself.

Tania’s university friend has been missing from the scene and it seems something horrible might have happened to her. One wonders what can actually happened that she is avoiding her friends and also not taking classes. Has she been harassed or assaulted on the University premises by the administration staff? Tania and Ali will surely find it out! Overall an absolutely enjoyable episode!
