Kuch Ankahi Episode-4 Review: Its all about Samia’s wedding being fixed with good-for-nothing Safiullah!

Among the running regressive content, Kuch Unkahi is like a breath of fresh air!

Airing at ARY Digital, the drama serial Kuch Ankahi is a light heart serial with strong messaging all knit well with humour. The performances are all superb. However, the best part is the importance given to the detailing of the scenes. In the previous episode, we watched that Kuch Ankahi is all about breaking stereotypes. In this latest episode, all are worried about Samia’s wedding being fixed with good-for-nothing Safiullah!

Well had this play a regular regressive watch, we would have seen Agha Jaan landing in a hospital with a critical cardiac arrest and he would have been struggling in a battle for survival but nothing of this sort of incident happened Thankfully. Agha Jaan just had a fall and he is then back to normal life. He is shown such an upright character that he refuses his lawyer to deal with any forged documents. However, he is still resolute not to give her sister her rightful share in the property making his character twisted.

We are really loving how each and every character’s track is progressing as well as Taniya and Ali’s friendship. it emerges that Ali who lends his support Agha’s family’s household chores is also from a broken family and suffers the wrath of his stepmother.

Phupho’s character (played by Vaneeza Ahmad) is actually like a breath of fresh air Oh my God! what a progressive character! Sophia Phupho can make anyone speechless. She takes things on her own terms and had no regrets. It is shown that she married out of love with someone not equal to her status but she led a very happy and content life. She is trying hard to tell Samia not to marry Safiullah (Ali Safina) but Samia (Mira Sethi) has also made up her mind not to go against the wish of her mother.

Samia’s mother not reacting to Aliya’s informing her about Safiullah’s affair sounds a bit of a stretch no sane mother is desperate enough to throw her daughter like that. Phupho takes a wise decision which apparently looks like a wrong move she demands Samia’s ruksati along with her Nikkah. Aliya and Tania both strongly oppose this idea but Samia’s mother is happy. Phupho is of the view that if Samia has made up her mind to marry Safiullah then why do they have to wait for that long?

Meena’s family track is also interesting. The maid’s daughter loves to make TikTok videos hiding from her family and it seems like she is going to get into big trouble for this.

We get to have a peek into Safiullah’s life as well. He is apparently a mama’s boy but he has a life too. It turns out that he has a girlfriend/secret fiance (here comes the entry of a new character played by Uroosa Siddiqui) who happens to be his colleague in the office. She is quite an unconventional character. Once again breaking the stereotypes it is not Safiullah who has chosen her but it is she who has proposed to him in front of her whole office and she is confident that no matter if he marries Samia ultimately she will going to marry him. Quite an interesting build-up! Kuch Ankahi has a palette of extremely interesting characters.
