Mera Rab Waris – Episode 26 Review

Showcasing a stellar cast in the form of Danish Taimoor and Madiha Imam in the lead, Mera Rab Waris by 7th Sky Entertainment is a unique serial themed around the struggles of a girl who values her faith as much as the other relationships in her life.

Ayesha covers her face out of her own choice but is married into a liberal household where the veil is considered to be an indication of illiteracy and a conservative mindset. Ayesha’s life in her in-laws’ household is getting miserable with every passing day, yet she continues to tolerate everything with patience.

Episode 26 that aired this week brought forth a new side of Ayesha’s personality, where she is now standing up for herself, reacting justly to all the wrong being done to her. Be it with her husband Haris, or her mother-in-law, Ayesha is finally speaking up, and we are so glad about that. Despite the change in Ayesha, she continues to maintain her level of decency that is an elementary trait for Ayesha’s character.

Nimra and Faizi finally get married in the recent episode and the love of the former for the latter is overwhelming to see. The drastic change in Nimra’s disposition is admirable, while Faizi’s disregard for his wife is quite prominent.

Mazhar, the antagonist in the serial, has still not disclosed the Faizi-Ayesha secret but has surely made his wife uncomfortable by constantly telling her that something is suspicious about Faizi. Resultantly, Kinzie goes to the house of her newlywedded sister and creates a scene, but it is intelligently handled by Nimra.
