Meri Shehzadi Episode-13 Review: Dania once again comprises to save her marriage

HUM TV drama serial Meri Shehzadi is now 13 episodes down. The story is interesting and set on unique premises and the whole show belongs to Atiqa Odho’s outclass performance. In the previous episode, we have seen that Dania has won the elections and the hearts of the people, and she is also expecting now, and Shahana is deliberately keeping her out of politics. In this episode, it is shown that despite of showing some spine Dania eventually compromises to save her marriage.

Dania is really upset about realizing that the household she is married to, deliberately keeps her out of politics, she is merely a puppet. Dania’s Nana reminds her that politics is never been her cup of tea, she loves to work for human welfare she must carry on her activities. Dania likes this idea she says that she will help the poor like she used to do before her marriage.

Dania with her nana goes to help the people on her own but their people now recognize her as an MPA media persons have also arrived at the spot and she is all over the news, people are praising her for her selfless efforts. Sahana and particularly Andleeb are not happy with Dania’s popularity. Shahana snubs Dania on which she loses her cool too and for the very first time, she dares to speak up for her own self.

Shehroze takes a stand for her mother, he tells Dania to apologize to his mother. Dania clearly refuses to seek any apology as for her she has not done anything for which she has to say sorry. Shehroze reacts to Dania’s refusal he shifts to another room and Andleeb notices it. She fans the fire and creates a situation which makes Dania’s position even worse. Andleeb is shown as such a vile woman!

Shehroze threatens Dania that he is going to complain to her nana about her behaviour in the house and Dania’s father intervenes. He takes the matter into his hands. He tries to convince Dania that she has to compromise in order to save her marriage. Well, this regressive part is so hard to watch, we got excited to see Dania showing some spine and now poor Dania apologizes to Shahana and asks her to apologize to Andeleep as well. I don’t understand why Dania cannot leave Sheroze and this toxic household she is married into. Why she is compromising her self-respect?
