Naulakha – Review Episode 9
The battle of the precious pendant is getting pretty serious. Zain was REALLY into Tehreem and somehow, vice versa. Tehreem didn’t want to break Shafaq’s heart. But the opening scene of the episode was shocking. Zain and Tehreem were getting engaged! Everyone looked so happy except for Shafaq. She regretted the decision she made to allow Tehreem to engage Zain. On the other hand, the elders decided to announce the wedding date after Tehreem’s exams; after 2 months. Noor Jahan tried to talk to Shafaq about it but she left the room saying “Mangni ka toot jana itni bari baat to nahi, jisay zindagi ka rog bana liya jaye!”
Qurat-ul-Ain and her mother-in-law discussed the defeat of Noor Jahan. Noor Jahan was so confident about Shafaq’s marriage with Zain but Mumtaz won the battle, leaving Noor Jahan astounded. Tehreem eavesdropped their discussion and said that they must thank Shafaq for this engagement AND for this, Noor Jahan disowned Zain Ali. This was when Akbar Ali talked to Shafaq about Noor Jahan’s anger over the situation. Shafaq and Zain Ali tried to convince Noor Jahan to come to the ceremony but she refused.
Mumtaz was about to own naulakha as Tehreem was getting married with Zain. We all know that things can never be the same, there are always sharp turns or twists in a drama and this is exactly what we’re expecting from the next episode. *fingers crossed*
