Pyar Ke Sadqey Episode-14 Review: Things are turning dark and ugly

Pyar Ke Sadqey is indeed a masterpiece running at HUM TV, it is the treatment of the story and brilliance of crafting the characters that have made this serial our absolute favorite primetime Watch. I literally feel that I am running short of words to appreciate the sheer incredible performances given by Yumna Zaidi and Bilal Abbas which leave us in awe. Zanjabeel Asim Shah deserves all praises for penning down such beautiful script and Farooq Rind for its excellent execution.

Well in this episode sadly it seems that the light heartiness of the play is moving towards its decline and things have started getting intense and ugly. We are certainly going to miss that delightful part of the play which the previous episodes have offered, as it is seen that the mood of the play is now shifting more towards the darker and uglier side with Sarwar messing the things up.

Mahajabeen’s father has tried to convey his concerns about her daughter in front of Abdullah’s mother but it seems that she is still blindfolded with Sarwar’s love or maybe she is too scared to accept this ugly reality. She snubs Munshi Sahab and the worst part is that Sarwar is overhearing all this conversation. He literally threatens Munshi Sahab that now his daughter is at his mercy and now he can do whatever he wants with her. This is too scary.

Sarwar is harassing Mahajabeen, he is getting inappropriately close to her and is touching her. Mahajabeen being naive and simpleton still have the sense of making a difference between good touch and the bad touch. She is feeling that it is not appropriate, she gets scared and the most touching scene is when she runs towards Abdullah and hugs him from the back. She tries to tell him that how uncomfortable she feels when Sarwar touches her but then Sarwar intervenes. Mahajbeen is shocked and hurt to see that Abdullah does not react on it, she has realized his helplessness. Sarwar also tries to mess up with Munshi Jee’s reputation in front of Abdullah in the office by creating fake files records.

Sarwar very artfully takes Mahajabeen with him in the car and when she says that she does not want to go Sarwar forcefully takes her. Mahajabeen is hurt to see that Abdullah takes no stand. Sarwar takes her to her parents’ house and still he is threatening Munshi Jee that his daughter is in a very vulnerable position. Mahajabeen very clearly expresses with her mother the sense of touch she feels when Sarwar touches her, shocking her mother and making her worried. She is so innocent that when her mother tries to explain her about marital life responsibilities she is not picking it well. We literally do not want to see innocent Mahajbeen suffering, but it seems that in order for these characters to grow they have to go through a lot of hardships and heartbreak.
