Ranjha Ranjha Kardi ends on a beautiful note

Without a doubt, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi came at par with the iconic dramas of the Pakistani drama industry. It brought a story as impactful and entertaining as Dhoop Kinaray, Parchaiyan and even Alpha Bravo Charlie. What we mean to say is that this wonderful story of deceit, love and respect will go down in the history of Pakistani dramas as one of the very best. Faiza Iftekhar poured her heart out with the story of Ranjha Ranjha Kardi.

As a cherry on top of a cake, Imran Ashraf, Asma Abbas and Iqra Aziz especially delivered superb performances under Kashif Nisar’s direction. The way these three characters poured out their emotions, at times not speaking but letting their expressions do the talking was simply amazing. You’d be left astounded at times with what you got to see on television.

So what transpired in the last episode? Well, to be honest, as Noori had been, we didn’t expect something bad to come her way. However, nothing was in her favor and she was thrown out by Fehmida when Sahir told him the tale of their old love. However, Nusrat intervened and things got settled for Noori. But what wasn’t fair was the fact that we didn’t get to see what became of Nusrat. He had been giving Bhola the wrong medications all his life but nothing became of him. Did this mean he redeemed himself because he intervened for Noori? Well, if that’s the case, that’s one point we weren’t really satisfied about.

But all is well that ends well and we’re glad Bhola finally had his happy ending. He wanted acceptance and he got that in the most beautiful of ways. The ending scenes of the episode were absolutely heart wrenching, where you could see Bhola dying to see his child but afraid he might curse him to become like his father. Bhola’s hesitation and then his absolute joy on being accepted and welcomed by his wife and child was exceptionally contagious and Imran Ashraf touched your heart with his portrayal of Bhola.

All in all, Ranjha Ranjha Kardi became a drama that one will never forget. Its like a story you keep on reading and every time you do, it sounds more interesting. We’re rooting for Imran Ashraf to get the recognition he deserves in form of all awards the coming year. And the same goes for Iqra Aziz too. Bhola and Noori have been iconic and just about perfect. Thank you team Ranjha Ranjha Kardi for an amazing visual treat.
