Sinf e Aahan Episode-5 Review: Girls make their families proud
Sinf e Aahan the ISPR drama serial airing at ARY Digital is a refreshing Weekend Watch for which we wait the whole week. The performances are super strong by the ensemble cast so are the writing and execution. In the previous episodes, we have seen girls passing their first phase of training in ISB. In this episode, we have seen that how these girls are making their families proud and we have also been introduced to a new character the Srilankan girl.
Shaista when returns to her house with her proud father, her dadi being a typical conservative Pashtoon old woman makes a hue and cry over Shaista sneaking out of the house in the middle of the night. When Moosa tells her that she had gone with Kamil she gets a bit soft, she eventually gets melt when neighbors congratulate Moosa on Shaista’s selection and later when Shaista assures her that she will take care of honor and will marry Kamil. One of the turns off scenes is the over glorification of the Army in the bus, we all love and respect our army but no one gives a standing ovation to a future cadet in the bus.
Pariwash’s father has forbidden her mother not to tell anyone about her selection, he is fearing that the news might reach Sardar but poor the postman has shared the news with a villager who has told the Sardar, we are fearing that he might hamper Pariwash’s process of going Kakul. Arzo’s family is super proud of her but she should get rid of that toxic Nauraiz. He certainly does not want to see her empowered nor he is interested in marrying her.
There is an introduction of a new character in the play, the Srilankan girl Miss Perera. She is selected to go on training at PMA Kakul Pakistan, her late father has also gone to PMA as her mother has shared in the scene, we really liked the bond the girl has with her mother and also with her late father who she is badly missing.
Although the reason for Mahajabeen and Rabia’s animosity is still not clear in this episode as well. But we have seen more insight into their relationship and background story in which it seems that Mahajabeen likes Daniyal and it seems that she is interested in him and Daniyal too likes Mahajabeen but then what happened? what had gone wrong between them that leads to such hatred and separation between two close friends?
