Tere Bin Episode-41 and 42 Review: Murtasim leaves Meerub at her foster parent’s house

Both Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali have emoted their expressions so well in episode 42

Tere Bin the mega-hit drama serial airing at Geo Entertainment, is the 7th Sky Entertainment production. The reason behind the massive success of this serial lies in the brilliant performances of its leading cast. Besides the electrifying chemistry of Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali, they both have nailed in these episodes their roles by emoting so well through their expressions as they have given less dialogue. In the previous episodes, we have seen Meerub disappoint the audiences by betraying Murtasim.

The tension in Murtasim’s family is clearly evident as Malik Zubair keeps updating Murtasim with his selfies with Maryam. Malik Zubair is evil enough and it is so clearly written all over him but Maryam is such a dimwit that she cannot see that. How come she has such blind faith in a stranger? We see her getting shattered when Malik Zubair tells her who is he. Malik Zubair could have raped Maryam but thank God he didn’t.

Well, who is to blame more in this scenario? Meerub has acted dumb and she has surely done a huge blunder by helping Maryam in her elopement, she has betrayed Murtasim at so many levels. However, the person who has wronged Maryam more and Murtasim is Haya! Haya clearly knows he is Malik Zubair, she could have stopped Maryam how can she let her poor sister go into Malik Zubair’s trap? Maryam might get rapped by him!

Still, we see Haya getting away with all this so easily. Meerub knows that Haya after knowing everything could have told Maa Begum but she did not say a word about Haya. Why our plays are normalizing toxicity? Maa Begum is not ready to forgive Meerub how can she? after watching the video clip Haya has shown her. Maa Begum has not realized the fact that Haya could have stopped Maryam or alarmed her instead of filming that clip.

Well after Murtasim surrendering to all inappropriate demands of Malik Zubair finally gets his sister back. In the scene where he sees his sister, he embraces her whole heartily instead of despising her. Then returns a betrayed Murtasim who has lost his honor and land but secured her sister back. Maa Begum asks Murtasim to throw Meerub out of the house. Murtasim who is feeling extremely betrayed abides by her orders. Our heart goes out to Meerub despite her being too flawed. We want Murtasim to forgive her but he does not, he leaves Meerub at her foster parent’s house in Karachi without even waiting for her to go inside. Will Muratism leave Meerub?
