Tere Bin Episode-49 and 50 Review: The romance of Meeraism is totally ruined for us

Murtasim not questioning Haya, is the biggest flaw of this play.

Gone were the days when we were going gaga over the romance in Tere Bin! The drama after the 50th episode, feels like a desi Mills and Boon to us. The makers and writers have spoiled the whole experience. Meerub and Murtasim’s romance seems evaporated somewhere and what is left behind is absolute trash. In the previous episodes, we have seen Meerub walk of shame from Murtasim’s life. In these episodes, we see Meerub’s survival struggles and also Waqas losing his life.

Meerub ends up entering a very shady guest house never she has realized that she could actually get assaulted if she roams into the city like that all alone and without money. The guest house owner seems to be quite a generous fellow in that he not just compromised on not getting her ID but he actually agrees to check her into a luxurious room without any single penny as advance. Well, later we realized that the place is dubious and involved in shady affairs so this makes sense.

Murtasim not questioning Haya at all is the biggest flaw of this play. Haya is the main culprit but no one is penalizing her for her mischievousness is making the story too weak and flawed. Murtasim is anxiously looking for Meerub everywhere. The way he dramatically goes to her friend’s place is so overly done. He first goes to Rohail’s house for investigation but could not find him. Murtasim going there shows that he still does not trust Meerub.

Waqas and Anila’s world turn upside down when they realized that Meerub is missing. Waqas rightly blames Murtasim for it. He is looking for Meerub but when he fails to find her he loses hope and his life. Poor Anila is alone in the world. She prefers to stay in her house. Well, can we blame Meerub for her father’s death? Meerub could have asked for help from her parents but she prefer to choose risk.

Well, that shady guesthouse raid reminds me of the Jub We Met scene, I was like now Murtasim will get to find her but no she escapes in quite a funny and unbelievable way. Farrukh Khan is back on screen what a loose moral compass he has, he had accepted her gold chain for merely a 500 Rs ticket and could not give her a favor. Well ends up giving her some sane advice. The scene where Murtasim is talking with Haya makes my blood boil. How can he let a woman who actually used and harassed him She is the main cause of creating a rift between Meerub and Murtasim, and he lets her go that easily? Instead of penalizing Haya is a bit glorified, he tells her that if he will loose the hope of getting Meerub he will give Haya her ring! In return, she lecherously replies to him that she will take the ring and him too! Will Murstasim end up marrying Haya?
