Ye Dil Mera Episode-12 Review: Amaan has a very disturbing past

Ye Dil Mera Episode 12, the drama serial on HUM TV is the classiest psychological thriller in the running. Penned down by veteran writer Farhat Ishtiaq, Ye Dil Mera has a gripping plot. Sajal Aly and Ahad Raza Mir have given their power-packed brilliant performances in this play. In this episode, the past of Amaan is more revealed through his old friend which is quite disturbing.

Mir Farooq in the last episode was a bit shocked when he finds the receipt of a Cafe in her purse instead of any receipt of a Salon but Mir Farooq has not shared anything with his wife. He is being normal with her then when Mir Farooq goes for a shower, his wife saves all his data on the USB from his Laptop well one wonders person like Mir Farooq who has so much confidential stuff that should have put at least a password on his laptop.

Amaan meets his old college friend Sajid who is surprised to see Amaan sitting in a very luxurious car. He calls Amaan and he recognizes him too. Some of Amaan’s past is revealed through him. Amaan calls him at his office and he is surprised to see that Amaan has done such massive progress in his business it is so unbelievable for him. Amaan offers his friend to join him as he is not financially very sound and Amaan also asks him that he needs his support on which he agrees but Amaan is not sharing exactly the details with him.

It is through his friend Sajid we get to know that he has a very disturbing past, he was even subjected to sexual abuse too by his Uncle’s drunken friends when he escaped his Uncle’s place in London and came back to Pakistan, he had no money at that time he used his mother’s jewellery that  his servant gave him at the time when he was leaving London. He used to give English tuition to boys and earned his living.

Then Amaan tells his friend that he had to go back to London as his Uncle then was suffering from Cancer and died afterward. He inherited all of his uncle’s property, which his Uncle inherited from his wife who was filthy rich. Somehow,  Amaan has expanded and invested that money in a better way than his Uncle and manages to get this massive success in his life. His friend also tells him that he used to shout in his dreams and he often takes name of Mir Farooq! Amaan tells him that he is marrying the daughter of Mir Farooq.
