Yunhi Episode-13 Review: Kim and Dawood getting close?

Hum TV drama serial Yunhi has an old school aesthetic vibes and for that, the credit goes to the director of the play Etheshamuddin for beautifully executing it. The performances are all spectacular. In the previous episode, we have seen that Kim is taunting Dawood as an opportunist for marrying her. In this episode too their banters continue and we see a chemistry growing between Kim and Dawood.

The episode begins with Kim finding a handwritten letter from her father in which he tells her about his plan to leave for the US and how he wants her to take her relationship with Dawood seriously. He further tells her that he has taken all her documents, phone, and belongings with him so that she can get a break and she can at least try to give this marriage a chance!

Kim feels betrayed and hurt. Dawood has already called his neighbors boys for investigation but they have planned that Dada Jaan will ask them in his own way. However Kim spoils the whole scene by entering into the room bluntly saying that they have not stolen her belongings. The neighbor boys have taken this as a matter of their insult. Here I want to give a shout-out to Tahira Imam who is playing the role of Dawood’s mother Razia, she looks so endearing in her role even at places when she is angry we need to see more such woman portrayal on screens.

Dr Naveed has called Dawood after reaching America but Kim refuses to talk with him. Dr. Naveed gets cardiac arrest when he is talking with someone on the phone. Wondering if will he going to survive this attack. Dada Jee is trying hard to get in contact with him but he is obviously not in a position of taking any calls.

The chemistry starts brewing between Kim and Dawood. Still one wonders why Kim has actually married Dawood when she has no interest in him nor she is allowing him to get near her. The scene where Kim tries to make amends for her mistakes seems that she wants to give this marriage a try. The rooftop scene is super cute where Dawood convinces Kim to wear Eastern clothes for tomorrow’s dinner at phuppo’s house. Kim taunts him on his mentality for judging her clothes to which Dawood gives a befitting reply saying that she is doing the same with him. He said she judged him by his getup as a terrorist. Kim becomes speechless. She agrees to wear an Eastern dress for the upcoming dinner. Absolutely loving this serial interesting buildup!
