4 Pakistani films nominated in different categories at Jaipur International Film Festival

The Jaipur international film festival (JIFF) which is supposed to be held in Jaipur, India from 18th to 22nd January, 2019 has brought about solid reasons for Pakistani cinema to be excited about.

This year, four Pakistani films from short, documentary and feature categories have been nominated in various categories at JIFF, a feat, which will definitely put across skills and ideas of Pakistani filmmakers in front of a larger, more mature cinema audience.

From Pakistan this year, Nabeel Qureshi’s Load Wedding has been nominated in the category of Best Feature, “Indus blues” has been nominated for Best Documentary Feature, short film “Dia” has been nominated for Best Short feature alongside “River in the Dessert” in the same category.

Launched in January 2009, Jaipur International Film Festival -JIFF, promotes new movie makers, exchange of knowledge, information, ideas & culture between India & other nations in context of their social and cultural ethos.
