Janaan

Set in the scenic valley of Swat, Janaan stars Bilal Ashraf, Ali Rehman Khan, Armeena Rana Khan and Hania Amir. The film a beautiful ode of modern Pukhtoons who value traditions alike, is a must watch for all who want to witness the finest from Pakistani cinema.

Waar

The action thriller based movie whose theme is based on patriotism is one of the most loved Pakistani flicks. Waar stars Shaan Shahid, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ayesha Khan and others. The story revolves around a retired officer who is on a mission to save Pakistan from terrorist attacks.

My Pure Land

The film depicting the story of the brave Nazo Dherjo, the woman who stood tall for protecting her home and lands is now available on Netflix. Starring Suhaee Abro, the film garnered amazing response worldwide and is one of the best to come out form modern Pakistani cinema.

Dukhtar

The film is a story of a strong willed woman who leaves the mountains with her 10-year-old daughter to save her from the shackles of child marriage. Dukhtar is a brave tale of strength and courage and about a mother’s refusal to conform to her society’s norms. Brilliant performances by Samiya Mumtaz, Mohib Mirza and Samina Ahmed makes this flick a must watch.
