Aisha Khan bids farewell to the industry?

Aisha Khan, a household name, when it comes to Pakistani media industry. The star girl rose to fame after her successful stint in drama serial Mehendi opposite Humayun Saeed. It seems there has been no looking back for Aisha Khan eversince then.

Aisha Khan is currently winning hearts in ARY Digital’s Meri Nanni Pari, another one of those powerful serials of the lady that addresses a social issue. Khan’s Khuda Mera Bhi Hai on the same channel highlighted the plight of transgender children in our society and created a very strong impact on the audiences.

However, in a sad turn of events, it seems Aisha Khan has decided to bid farewell to “our wonderful media industry.” In a heartfelt status of her Facebook page, Aisha Khan shared how she was bowing out with immense satisfaction and a lot of pride, moving on to the next phase  of her life.

The actress also apologized to her fellow colleagues for not getting back on the number of scripts that had been with her for a long time. “I would also like to let my colleagues and friends know about the limitation that I might have had in accepting new projects since 2016 out of which a few scripts stayed with me for a long time. My apologies,” added Khan.

Aisha’s annoucement has taken the entire industry by a storm. Her friends and costars took to commenting on her status, seeming as shocked as any of us!

Ali Safina:  we haven’t worked together and this can’t happen. I hope for a miracle to happen and to be casted alongside you in a project that will be a proper last inning. However, if that doesn’t happen thank you for being you and setting standards that all the actors after you will try to achieve. All the best for your future and yes make a comeback whenever you feel like it. The screen, the industry and your fans love you.

Aisha Khan made her screen debut about two decades ago with the the PTV drama serial Tum Yehi Kehna and went on to have a very exciting career on television. Aisha starred in hit dramas like Mehran, Khuda Mera Bhi Hai, Mann Mayal, Kuch Pyar Ka Pagalpan. Khan also debuted on the silver screen with Bilal Lashari’s directorial, Waar as starred in Nadeem Baig’s Jawani Phir Nahi Ani.
