Most Awaited, Upcoming Drama Alif Wraps Up Shooting

Hold your hearts because the much awaited drama serial is all set to come to your television screens soon. As per news shared by Ahsan Khan, the drama shot its last scene and now, cameras have closed on Alif. The drama, will have its post production completed and will soon be telecast for the viewers.

In an earlier conversation with Oye Yeah, writer of Alif, Umera Ahmed, shared, “Alif, the novel, is based on 8 chapters, which is a journey of four characters. Each chapter is build up on letters of a character named “Husn-e-Jahan.” And since the drama takes its script from the novel, we’re sure, the drama is going to be an interesting take on the worldly relations and spirituality.

Alif has been directed by Haseeb Hasan, with a stellar cast including Hamza Ali Abbasi, Sajal Aly, Ahsan Khan, Kubra Khan, Manzar Sehbai, Saleem Mairaj, Lubna Aslam and many others. The drama is a  production by Sana Shahnawaz and Samina Humayun Saeed under their new production house.

Alif’s OST has been composed by Shuja Haider and also features Momina Mustehsan on the vocals. We’re sure, this drama will be an A lister from the start and can’t wait to start watching it soon enough.
