Netflix’s All Quiet on the Western Front has gained an impressive 150 million hours of streaming!

As reported, the film has surpassed the mark of 150 million hours in accumulated viewership.

Netflix’s anti-war drama has garnered a huge amount of love since its release on Netflix in October 2022.

The film climbed up to No. 2 on the global list, according to numbers released by Netflix.

It has been on the global Top 10 Non-English Film list for 14 weeks and has reached the Top 10 Films in 91 countries, including Germany, the U.K., the U.S., Australia, France, Mexico and South Korea.

The German-language antiwar film has won best film, best director and five other awards at Britain’s equivalent of the Academy Awards, Baftas 2023.

The film saw a record-breaking seven wins, including best film, director (Edward Berger), adapted screenplay, cinematography, sound, original score and non-English language film.

All Quiet on the Western Front has bagged 9 Academy Awards nominations this year.

The nominations include major categories such as Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Original Score.

Edward Berger’s anti-war drama depicts the story of a young guy Paul Bäumer played by Felix Kammerer), who joins the Imperial German Army along with his friends after listening to authority figures from his circle telling them that going to war would make them heroes.

Apparently, the viewing numbers for the film globally tripled after the BAFTA and Oscar nominations.

For the week of Feb. 20 to Feb. 26, “All Quiet on the Western Front” was in the No. 2 spot for non-English films, accumulating 5,470,000 hours viewed alone.
