Amazon’s original ‘Lord of the Rings’ series sets a premiere date!
The much-anticipated series will be arriving on the streaming site on September 2, 2022, with one episode weekly later on.
Not much is yet revealed about the series yet, however, all we know is that it will take place during the so-called Second Age, thousands of years prior to the events of both “The Lord of the Rings” books and “The Hobbit.”
As being reported, the filming of the first season of the show was complete on Aug. 2 in New Zealand.
Amazon has also released the first official image from the series.
