Another Farhat Ishtiaq’s novel to get a TV adaptation

Fans of famous playwright Farhat Ishtiaq are in for a surprise as another beloved novel of hers is soon going to get a TV adaptation. The writer revealed the big news on Twitter in response to a fan’s tweet about the novel.

A fan excitedly shared on Twitter that she recently received a copy of Farhat’s novel, Jo Bachay Hein Sang Samait Lo. 

Jaldi parh lain… #Jbhssl coming soon on tv [Hurry up and read it as Jo Bachay Hein Sang Samait Lo is coming soon on TV],”  tweeted the playwright in response. 

Other fans joined in to ask details on the cast and direction, but the author replied that things are yet to be finalized so nothing major can be revealed at this point.

Many of Farhat’s writings have been adapted for television dramas such as Humsafar, Matae Jaan Hai Tu, Diyar-e-Dil, Bin Roye and Yaqeen ka Safar.
