Badlaan from Baaji is a beautiful track
Meera and Amna Ilyas starrer Baaji, just released its second track Badlaan and we have to say, this one is an absolutely beautiful and mesmerizing track. Zeb Bangash’s soulful voice takes you in a trance, where you only here her soothing vocals flowing like magic on tunes that are soft and enchanting at the same time.
Shakeel Sohail’s lyrics and the music composition are another cherry on top because they complement Zeb’s voice, not rising above the vocals, nor drowning them in heavy beats. The overall affect of the song is very peaceful, something you’d love to hear with your headphones on or while you take a solitary drive.
The picturization of the song features an excited Amna, stepping into a new life as Shameera’s (Meera’s) assistant and finding herself amidst all the luxuries of life she has only dreamt about. Well suited to the lyrics, the picturization of Badlaan, depicts a beautiful story on its own, making you fall in love with the track.
Baaji has been directed by Saqib Malik and stars Meera, Amna Ilyas, Osman Khalid Butt, Mohsin Abbas Haider, Ali Kazmi and Nayyer Ejaz in prominent roles. The film releases 28th June all over.
