The Witcher season 2 has resumed its shooting spell and the team behind Netflix’s popular series keeps giving a glimpse of the show to fans on daily basis. One such every day update had a picture of one main character Ciri which sent fans into a frenzy. Many assumed that The Witchers actor Freya Allan has been replaced and this is someone else playing the grownup character.
Forbes has analytically looked in the picture and revealed that due to makeup transformation and change in the character’s props, it looks like a different person is playing Ciri.
“They’ve given Ciri a different look, no longer going for the “ghostly elf child” and darkening her brows and giving her different eye make-up,” said Forbes.
“She’s gone from princess to potential warrior. [And we’re] little bit closer to the grown-up Ciri look from the Witcher games that most fans will associate with the character,” the publication added.
After seeing Ciri from season 2, on whose training the storyline will greatly revolve around, fans are now looking forward to pictures of Yennefer and Vesesmir in the next few days. Witcher season 2 is expected to release in mid-2021, with no confirmed date announced yet.
