Ellen Pompeo Soon to Leave Grey’s Anatomy

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo came forth with upsetting news for the fandom. Pompeo aged 50 mentioned how her contract with Grey’s anatomy ends this year with season 17, which will air this month.

In an interview with Variety, the actress mentioned how nobody really knows when the show itself will wind up, but it can be ending really soon. Who knows if season 17 might actually be the last season of the show.

Ellen also mentioned how she is tirelessly working as a producer to ensure that the tv show as a whole ends up being as good as it can be.

“I mean, this is the last year of my contract right now. I don’t know that this is the last year? But it could very well could be,” she added.

Although, there is no certainty about the show ending for good this year, or in the years to follow since the production house actively employees crew members and provides them with a huge platform. But for Pompeo, knowing that the topics covered in the show, and the out of the box themes do help an individual to think beyond the horizons and become a better human being. And for her, this legacy makes it all worthwhile.
