Final Destination: Bloodlines Trailer Unveils Gruesome New Deaths After 14-Year Hiatus

The film is scheduled to premiere in theatres and IMAX on May 16, 2025

The Final Destination franchise is set to return with its sixth instalment, titled Final Destination: Bloodlines, after a 14-year hiatus since the last film. The newly released trailer showcases the series’ signature blend of shocking and gruesome deaths, promising to captivate fans once again.

The trailer, lasting two minutes and 17 seconds, begins with a tattoo artist played by Richard Harmon, who becomes ensnared in a deadly series of events triggered by his surroundings. His character is depicted as dealing with the recent death of his father, which adds an emotional layer to the chaos that ensues.

As he prepares to close his tattoo shop, a series of unfortunate events unfolds, leading to a horrific demise involving decorative chains and fire, characteristic of the franchise’s dark humour and elaborate death sequences.

The film follows Stefanie, portrayed by Kaitlyn Santa Juana, who is on a quest to find someone capable of breaking the fatal cycle that has plagued her family. This narrative thread continues the franchise’s exploration of themes surrounding fate and survival against the odds.

Final Destination: Bloodlines is scheduled to premiere in theatres and IMAX on May 16, 2025. Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, the film also features a cast that includes Teo Briones, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, and the late Tony Todd.

This new chapter aims to reignite interest in the franchise, which began with the original film in 2000, known for its innovative approach to horror through premonitions and elaborate death sequences that left a lasting impact on audiences.
