Owing to the Coronavirus outbreak, majority cinemas in the US have shut down with President Trump declaring a national emergency yesterday. Amid the homebound community, there’s definitely stress and panic, and Disney has decided to cater to it.
The studio’s biggest animation film Frozen 2 that was scheduled to be available on its online streaming site Disney+ after June, is now getting an early release due to the current situation.

The studio is intending on “surprising families with some fun and joy during this challenging period” said a statement released by Disney.
Frozen 2 will be available on Disney+ from Sunday, March onwards in the US, whereas the film will be released in Canada, Netherlands, Australia, and New Zealand on March 17.
