Harry Potter new eBooks to be released next month

Gear up Harry Potter fans! There are yet more tales from the world of witchcraft and wizardry is on the way.

JK Rowling has recently revealed that four new eBooks will be released next month offering fans an insight into a rich wizarding world.

The stories will be published on the Pottermore website will revolve around lessons studied at Hogwarts themselves and are to be based in non-fiction.

The website promises the books will take the fans back in time once again to learn about the traditional folklore and magic at the heart of the Harry Potter stories.

“Prepare to delve deeper into the rich history of magic (be it our own Muggle history, or the magical world created by J.K. Rowling).” said in a statement on Rowling’s Pottermore website.

“In addition to exploring the origins of magic through history and folklore, the eBook shorts will also feature notes, manuscript pages and charming sketches as previously seen in Harry Potter: A History of Magic.” It said.

The stories have been adapted from the audiobook Harry Potter: A History of Magic, which was inspired by the British Library exhibition.

The first two books, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology has set to be released on June 27.

While the third and fourth ones – Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures will be released soon after.

As reported on the website, London-based artist, Rohan Daniel Eason illustrated all the four books and will initially be available in four languages including English, French, Italian, and German.
