Here are the 2021 International Emmy Nominees
The 2021 International Emmy Nominees have been announced.
The winners of the 2021 International Emmys will be announced at a live ceremony in New York on Nov. 22.
The International Emmy Award is an honor bestowed by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in recognition of the best television programs initially produced and aired outside the United States.
For this year’s International Emmys, a record of 24 countries is represented across the 44 nominees.
“We are so proud of our nominees and the record-breaking number of countries. To those who feared the pandemic would slow TV production around the world, this is your answer,” said International Academy President and CEO Bruce Paisner.
To one’s surprise, Tennant is the only English-language acting contender for the 2021 International Emmys.
While Bollywood star Nawazuddin Siddiqui has secured a nomination in the best performance by an actor category for his Netflix film “Serious Men”.
In the best actress category, Menna Shalaby is the first-ever Egyptian nominee for her role in MBC’s Every Week Has a Friday.
