Instagram’s most liked picture is that of an Egg now!

Now, in a rather interesting turn of events, Instagram’s most liked photo’s crown goes to a picture of an egg. Posted on January 5th, 2019, by the account world_record_egg, the mere photo of an egg on a solid white background has surpassed the 18.1 million “likes”. The number of likes have pushed Kylie Jenner first photo of newborn baby Stormi which was posted last year on February 6th, to the second spot.

Swishing past 14 million likes to 18 million in an hour, the picture of the egg is the first non human picture to have been crowned as Instagram’s most liked picture. While Kylie Jenner is on number 2, most of the list includes pictures from footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, Selena Gomez and also Beyoncé.
