Junoon to rock Dubai, after their performance at Imran Khan’s meet

Pakistan’s Sufi rock band Junoon is all set to appear at a musical gala in Dubai after their historic performance at UAE earlier this year.

As per the sources, the event will be held on November 29 at Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium at 9 pm.

The band had a historic show currently in Washington DC at Capital One Arena as part of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s welcome address where millions of overseas Pakistanis as well as natives of US gathered to catch the glimpse and to cherish the arrival of Pakistan’s premiere.

Salman Ahmed, said his long-awaited dream had just come true after the performance at Capital One Arena.

“As a Pakistani teenager growing up in the USA, I used to imagine myself onstage in a big US Arena playing music to spread unity and love like the Beatles & Bruce Springsteen… PM Imran Khan’s team called to ask me to play for close to 30,000 singing, chanting Junoonis in the heart of Washington DC. It was a historic occasion and Junoon’s music of hope and friendship was the soundtrack to a Pakistan-America summit,” said Ahmad.
